My name is John Sanvidge and I was adopted from Seoul, South Korea in 1984. I was raised in upstate New York with my other adopted siblings, my brother is also from South Korea. The only life I've known is my average Irish/Italian upbringing, but somewhere down the road we all search for something, which is the position I'm in now.
I'm creating this blog to keep people updated on how the search for my birth parents is going. I'm filming the entire process for an independent feature documentary. I'm going to post some photos and also a few video journals. Hopefully my story will lift your spirits in anyway possible.

ReplyDeleteI think it is so wonderful that you are documenting this. I am adopting a son, and he will be home in March. It is inspirational to adoptive parents to see someone such as yourself who clearly loves his parents, and is ready to take the step to find his birth parents. I hope someday my son will get the chance to meet his birth family. Good luck!!
